How Important Is Trampoline Air Flow?

Air flow may not be something you think about when you’re in the market for an in-ground or an above ground trampoline, but it needs to be. How important is trampoline air flow? When you are investing in an in ground trampoline air flow is something you need to consider because it impacts the rebounding ease and safety when you’re jumping.

First things first, though. When you’re talking with your family about getting a trampoline you need to think about:

  1. Do you want an inground trampoline?
  2. Do you want an above ground trampoline
  3. What size do you want?
  4. Where should it be placed?
  5. How much weight does it need to accommodate?
  6. Will you install the in ground trampoline on your own?
  7. Are there any accessories you’d like with your trampoline?

You need to answer all the questions above, but the easiet question to answer is… will it be fun? You know it will! In addition to the fun, though are the health benefits you achieve when you incorporate a rebounding workout into your daily exercise routine. Hint: it won’t even feel like exercise because rebounding is so much fun!

How Important Is Trampoline Air Flow?

What about air flow and an in ground trampoline?

When it comes to the safe and enjoyable jumping on a trampoline, air flow is of utmost importance. If there isn’t proper and adequate air flow in, around and especially under, the in ground trampoline, your “bounce” will suffer.

.Our experts understand how imporant air flow is to the in ground trampoline design and because of that the spring pad we designed allows for air flow in the trampoline from both the inside and outside of the spring pads. Every time you jump on an in ground trampoline, the pad will have a slight lift and at that time, no air can escape. It is the landing that pushes the air out; the air needs to freely flow between the pit for the in-ground trampoline and the spring mat.

We understood the importance of air flow and how it relates to your rebounding experience on your an in-ground trampoline, because of that we introduced a high performance, anti-slip, jump mat. This high performance mat offers a fifteen times greater air flow capacity and that gives you an increased air flow for a more high performance bounce. This means you bounce higher and land softer.

Is Your Trampoline Summer-Ready?

It’s almost trampoline season! We know that some of our customers are able to enjoy their inground and above-ground trampolines year-round, but if that isn’t you — ask yourself, is your trampoline summer-ready? You don’t have to do too much to get it ready for fun and exercise for the 2021 summer season.

When you jump on a trampoline you almost immediately get happier! Rebounding helps boost your mood and also helps your lympthatic system get a jumpstart and that helps remove toxins from your body — it’s a win all day! We have yet to see someone jumping on a trampoline that doesn’t have a smile on his or her fact.

Whether you use your inground or above ground trampoline for fitness or fun or both you do need to ensure it’s still safe to use now that summer is almost here. As with any of your outdoor equipment, playground or swimming pool, they all require a bit of an inspection to see if there is any equipment or springs or even the jump mat that needs to be replaced.

Is Your Trampoline Summer-Ready?

Trampolines don’t have too many moving parts but you need to ensure:

  1. The jump map is still safe to use
  2. The springs are still all attached and none of them are broken
  3. The spring safety covers are in place.

We use galvanized metal for the inground trampoline springs to prevent rusting. We also carry springs made of zino or steel as they are also rust-proof metals.

The springs are what give you the bounce. The springs are what hold the mat taut to give you the bounce, too. The more often you jump, the more stress you are placing on the springs and the more often you will want to check and see that they are still safe. Springs can rust but more often, they stretch and that makes them weak.

Cover the trampoline and jump mat and the springs when you’re not using the trampoline to keep it protected from the elements.

Springs are easy to replace and once you do you will be back to jumping and smiling!

6 Reasons Trampoline Exercise is Great!

You know that exercising is important to your health. There is no doubt about that, right? That’s why we have put together 6 reasons trampoline exercise is great! There are many reasons people don’t exercise and they include:

  1. Being so out of shape that exercising is painful and injurious
  2. Not knowing where to start
  3. The weather is too hot and it can be dangerous (those who live in Arizona understand that.

Because exercise is critical to health and because you want to do it in a safe manner, there are reasons to exercise on an in-ground trampoline. As with any exercise, talk with your physician to ensure it is safe and that you’re healthy enough to undertake this type of exercise — we bet your doctor will approve of a low to no-impact workout.

6 Reasons Trampoline Exercise is Great!

  1. You won’t suffer knee or hip pain when you jump on a trampoline. Rebounding is “softened” by the trampoline taking your weight.
  2. When you workout on a trampoline you wont have to take days off or need downtime between workouts because you won’t be suffering any pain from the workout like you might from jogging or lifting weights.
  3. Low impact workouts are ideal for anyone who is just starting to workout and for anyone of any age.
  4. When rebounding you experience euphoria because you’re so weightless while you’re in the air. Rebounding also strengthens the lymphatic system and helps move and remove toxins from the body.
  5. You won’t dread a trampoline workout because it’s not painful and it’s fun.
  6. We can almost guarantee that when you buy a trampoline that you will continue to use it — unlike many home gym sets ups which get discarded and forgotten.
