How To Work An In-ground Trampoline Into Landscaping Plans

“We want a trampoline!” Whether it’s your children begging for one or whether you’ve been thinking it inside your head you may also wonder how to work an in-ground trampoline into landscaping plans. In-ground trampolines are aesthetically pleasing because they blend seamlessly into any garden scape.

The only thing that would be visible with an in-ground trampoline is if you have safety nets installed. Depending on who is using the trampoline you will definitely want to use them as a protective measure. No longer are trampolines the tall, above ground ones you’ve seen in the past. Today’s trampolines can be “buried” and are in-ground so if you don’t want a trampoline to detract from your landscaping, you don’t have to!

  3. When you purchase a kit from us it comes with all you need to install it and begin jumping.
  4. Plan to pay around $3,500 for your in-ground trampoline — or more depending on shape, size and accessories

If you’re thinking about getting an above ground or an inground trampoline this year, give us a call. Let’s talk about the best trampoline for you, your family and your budget.“Children learn through play and making it fun means they’ll have lots of practice developing skills. Whether you buy or borrow toys from your local toy library, they form an integral part in learning and a great way for families to spend time together”.

How To Choose A Trampoline For Your Family

Have you ever wondered how to choose a trampoline for your family? Have you wondered if there are trampolines — inground or above ground on which more than one person can jump at one time? We have answers to those questions and can help you make the best decision for your family!

What is the best family trampoline? It isn’t such an easy question to answer because it’s different for every family! A great trampoline for your family is one that:

  1. Is safe
  2. Is made of high quality materials
  3. Is durable
  4. Is safely anchored
  5. Can hold the amount of weight that will be on it.

How To Choose A Trampoline For Your Family

When you give us a call to talk about a new in-ground or above ground trampoline for your family, make sure you ask us these questions.

  1. Where is the trampoline made?
  2. Is it built to last?
  3. What is the best shape for my family?
  4. Is it best to get an in-ground or an above ground trampoline and what factors should we consider?
  5. Does the weather where we live make a difference in the type of trampoline we get?
  6. Is there any warranty on the trampoline?
  7. Let us know how many pounds will be on the trampoline at once and we can help you decide the best size and type one for you.

You can choose a round, rectangle or oval/oblong trampoline shape and that may be determined by the area in which you want to set up the trampoline.

We do only recommend that people/children who weigh around the same jump together unless it is an adult on with a child and is helping the child jump and have fun. If you have people of disparate weights jumping, they can bump into one another and that could cause injuries.

How Important Is Trampoline Air Flow?

Air flow may not be something you think about when you’re in the market for an in-ground or an above ground trampoline, but it needs to be. How important is trampoline air flow? When you are investing in an in ground trampoline air flow is something you need to consider because it impacts the rebounding ease and safety when you’re jumping.

First things first, though. When you’re talking with your family about getting a trampoline you need to think about:

  1. Do you want an inground trampoline?
  2. Do you want an above ground trampoline
  3. What size do you want?
  4. Where should it be placed?
  5. How much weight does it need to accommodate?
  6. Will you install the in ground trampoline on your own?
  7. Are there any accessories you’d like with your trampoline?

You need to answer all the questions above, but the easiet question to answer is… will it be fun? You know it will! In addition to the fun, though are the health benefits you achieve when you incorporate a rebounding workout into your daily exercise routine. Hint: it won’t even feel like exercise because rebounding is so much fun!

How Important Is Trampoline Air Flow?

What about air flow and an in ground trampoline?

When it comes to the safe and enjoyable jumping on a trampoline, air flow is of utmost importance. If there isn’t proper and adequate air flow in, around and especially under, the in ground trampoline, your “bounce” will suffer.

.Our experts understand how imporant air flow is to the in ground trampoline design and because of that the spring pad we designed allows for air flow in the trampoline from both the inside and outside of the spring pads. Every time you jump on an in ground trampoline, the pad will have a slight lift and at that time, no air can escape. It is the landing that pushes the air out; the air needs to freely flow between the pit for the in-ground trampoline and the spring mat.

We understood the importance of air flow and how it relates to your rebounding experience on your an in-ground trampoline, because of that we introduced a high performance, anti-slip, jump mat. This high performance mat offers a fifteen times greater air flow capacity and that gives you an increased air flow for a more high performance bounce. This means you bounce higher and land softer.

5 In-ground Trampoline Landscaping Ideas

Summer is on the horizon. If you live in Arizona, where our business is proudly located, summer has been here for a while now! What we want to talk about today are 5 in-ground trampoline landscaping ideas.

The beauty of the in-ground trampoline is that it blends in with your landscaping and doesn’t detract from anything you have already done in your yard to make it aesthetically appealing.

5 In-ground Trampoline Landscaping Ideas

Landscaping will help you get more enjoyment out of the yard space you have. Additionally, “proper” landscaping will also help you get a great “flow” in the yard and to and from the house. Swimming pool owners understand this and work closely with their pool contractors to ensure there is a great flow around the pool area itself and to get into the pool from the house. The same can be, and should be, done for your in-ground trampoline.

  1. What is your budget? Know what you can afford to budget for the landscaping around the in-ground trampoline. Knowing what your budget is is necessary before you work with a contractor to beautify your space.
  2. Will you landscape to attract, or detract, from the fact that you have an in-ground trampoline? Some trampoline owners want to announce to the world that they have one, other trampoline owners want to keep it on the downlow. You need to decide where you fall in that group and landscape accordingly.
  3. Plant for beauty and scent but beware of bees and birds. When you’re on the trampoline, breathing in the scent of flowers will enhance the experience. You don’t want to plant anything that will draw too many birds because they you are dealing with bird droppings. Bees are beneficial to the environment, but may not be so beneficial to the trampoline space unless you are careful where you step and how closely you plant to the trampoline.
  4. Where will you sit when you’re not on the in-ground trampoline? Where will you relax when you just want to watch the children or other family member on the trampoline. Keep in mind that supervision is a part of responsible trampoline ownership and you may as well be comfortable when doing the supervising, right?
  5. What if you want to use the in-ground trampoline once the sun has set? If you work long hours or leave early in the morning you may be faced with rebounding in low light. Because you need to be safe at all times you need to ensure the trampoline is lighted for safety. Consider stringing LED lights around the area where you will be using the trampoline and where you will be sitting and relaxing when you’re in “supervisory mode.”

  4. Go wild with outdoor toys. Jump ropes, balls, croquet, bocce balls, pools, bicycles and more add to summer fun.
  5. Take a walk. Get reacquainted with the neighborhood or take a short drive to a new spot and have a picnic.

Resolutions For 2021 For Trampoline Owners

Yay! It’s the new year! If you’re like the rest of us, you were ready for a change from 2020 and the coronavirus. We have put together some resolutions for 2021 for trampoline owners that we think you will love!

If you have an inground or an above ground trampoline you already know how much fun they are. Sometimes, though people buy trampolines, then it doesn’t get used as much as you imagined it might — just like with swimming pool owners.

We want to make sure you get the most out of your brand new inground or above ground trampoline as you do out of the trampoline you may have owned for a while, but have not used as often a you should.

Whether you received a trampoline for a gift this season or want to get more use out of the trampoline you currently own, you might be wondering how to use it more, have more fun on it and enjoy it as much as your children do!

Resolutions For 2021 For Trampoline Owners

Consider these resolutions for the new year and breathing new life into your trampoline routine!

  • Remember that rebounding aka jumping, on an in-ground or above ground trampoline aids in healing and recovery. If you’re recovering from an injury and don’t want to be sedentary, your doctor may just approve a trampoline workout.
  • If you’re suffering balance issues, rebounding may help.
  • Jumping on a trampoline might reduce cellulite. The way that works is that jumping on a trampoline stimulates the lymphatic flow in the thighs and butt and that might reduce cellulite.
  • Your immune system and endocrine system may benefit because rebounding will help circulate and eventually remove excess toxins. Rebounding simply helps move toxins through your body and improves your lymphatic system and it’s a win all day!
  • Your cardiovascular system will benefit from rebounding because it supports blood flow and circulation.
  • You might lose weight. If that’s one of your resolutions, look at your trampoline as your partner in that journey! If you have excess pounds on your frame, an “on ground” workout might lead to an injury. Rebounding doesn’t put any stress or strain on your bones and joints and that means you can jump without fear of injury. Rebounding is a great way to work yourself up from “couch potato” to workout enthusiast.
  • Look online for exercises you can do while you’re on the in-ground or above ground trampoline. Don’t worry about getting too fancy; simply jumping is a great work out. Add wrist weights or waist weights to amp up the exercise you’re getting while you’re on the trampoline.

You may find that you look forward to your rebounding work out more than you have ever looked forward to an hour on the treadmill at the gym. If you look forward to a work out you will look forward to and that will be a workout you will likely stick with!

Talk with your doctor before you start your 2021 resolution of spending more time on the trampoline. He will probably give you the thumbs up, but it’s better to know for sure!

Trampolines & Thanksgiving Day Go Together

Thanksgiving Day will soon be upon us. Coronavirus may be changing our travel plans and how many people we will be inviting over for the family dinner, but being with your loved ones — even over a Zoom call — may be the way to visit and keep everyone safe and healthy. Trampolines & Thanksgiving day go together and we’ll tell you how!

Whether you’re cooking for a larger gathering in which you will be wearing masks and practicing social distancing or if you’re going to have a small dinner, with only immediate family, the trampoline can certainly play a role in the day!

Keep the kids occupied. If you don’t want the kids running in and out of the kitchen and getting into things — have someone take them out into the yard and watch them while they jump on the in-ground trampoline.

Work off excess energy. If the children have been sitting through dinner and a Zoom call with loved ones from far away, they may need to jump and run and burn off some energy. Time on the trampoline will again come to the rescue.

Stop the “I’m bored.” If your children are bored from playing with their toys in the house or watching television, send them outside to play on the trampoline. You don’t want more than one child on at a time, unless they are extremely close in weight, but let them go in and play with a few balloons.

Stay awake. Everyone knows that a heavy Thanksgiving dinner can lead to wanting to fall asleep on the couch, right? To ward off the after dinner sleepiness, take turns jumping on the trampoline.

We hope you and your family have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

3 Reasons To Use A Trampoline

Ho hum! Are you bored? Have you walked the dog more times than you — or he — care to track? Do you wish you could go to the community swimming pool and get some exercise and get out of the house? If you’re looking for something to do, we have 3 reasons to use a trampoline.

Thanks to coronavirus, getting out of the house is not as easy as it once was, right? A trampoline, whether an in-ground or an above ground style, is a cost effective way to add more fun to your home and your life. Just ask anyone who has used one and they will tell you it’s relaxing and fun!

3 Reasons To Use A Trampoline

We’ve written about many of these before, but they bear repeating.

  1. Break up the monotony of a workout. Rather than running or riding a bike or lifting weights or walking Fido yet again, jump on the trampoline. It’s great for your cardiovascular system, you won’t suffer an injury when you jump on the mat because it has springs and give. You can certainly incorporate rebounding into your regular workout routine, but why not give your body a break from jarring against the hard earth.
  2. Trampolining knows no age limits. If you have a child who can walk, he or she can enjoy time on a trampoline. If you’re a senior you can jump on a trampoline and get exercise without worry of injury. Even people with arthritis or sore muscles find that jumping on a trampoline doesn’t cause them injury.
  3. You will sleep better. If you’re tossing and turning it could be because you’re not getting enough exercise. Your heart isn’t pumping strongly enough during the day and that’s why you can’t sleep. Don’t jump on your trampoline too close to bedtime — you don’t want to get your heart racing then try to sleep! Jump on your trampoline in the morning or after your lunch or even right after dinner.

What Is The Best Trampoline For Your Family?

If you ask someone, “what is the best trampoline for your family?” the answer is as different as the people you’re asking. If you and your family are in the market for a trampoline, you need to take a step back and think about the answers to these questions:

  1. How big do you want
  2. Where will you place it
  3. What is the heaviest weight person who will use it
  4. What is the budget for it
  5. Do you want an above ground or an inground
  6. Have you jumped on a trampoline recently? If not, you should just so you can test out some jump mats
  7. Will the trampoline be for children or adults or both
  8. Will you be using the trampoline for fun, exercise or both
  9. Why do you want it? To give into the pressure from your children or is it something the family has been thinking of and talking about for some times? Don’t make an impulse purchase!
